This report is the third to be published as part of the Graduate Sandpit programme. It studies the extent, value and recoverability of materials found in waste water.
The project aims to:
- Inform the UK water industry of work under way worldwide.
- Establish the existence and quantity of recoverable materials in municipal wastewater.
- Provide an indication of the viability of recovery of the most promising materials.
- Develop a protocol that may be used to assess recovery proposals on a site specific basis.
