We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Hans Jensen as Chief Executive of UKWIR.

Hans joins us from RWE NPower Plc, where most recently he held the position of Head of Research and Development.

He says: "with much potential change facing the water industry, I am excited by the opportunity to build upon the considerable achievements of UKWIR and to ensure that it becomes the leading research centre for the water industry".

Hans will formally take up the position in mid-July and we wish him well in his new role.
